This April, to promote their Spring Savings Tax Time Tent Event, Kunes Country Auto of Quincy, working in conjunction with PERQ, sent a bar-coded direct mail piece featuring the chance to win a new car valued at $25,000, or $10,000 towards the purchase of any vehicle on the lot, both to be paid for by Odds On Promotions, as well as other enticing prizes provided by the dealership.

Each mailer featured a pull-tab component that indicated what prizes the recipient could win if they brought the barcoded mailer to be scanned at the “Tax Time” sale. Ironically, on April 15th, Tripp, who was considering going to another dealership to take a test drive, decided to go to the Kunes sales event to see if she had won. Once at the dealership, she spoke to a sales team member who scanned her mailer and informed her that she had not only won a prize, but she had won the $25,000 grand prize, insured by Odds On.

Direct Mail Winner Walter ProtasCortland, N.Y. – Congratulations go out to Direct Mail winner Walter Protas of Groton, who won $25,000 in cash, courtesy of Royal Auto Group and paid for by Odds On Promotions.

Protas, who was in the market for a new car, won the cash prize after receiving a direct mailer offering the chance to win big for stopping by the dealership during their Trade In Trade Up sales event. Protas had been to Royal Auto Group before to have his vehicle serviced but was shocked when he found out he was the grand prize winner.

According to the team at Royal Auto Group, the 20K piece mailer generated approximately 400 customer visits.

Hot Springs, Ark. – Congratulations to direct mail winner Kenneth Quarles of Arkadelphia who scored a brand new 2016 Nissan Altima, valued at $25,000, paid for by Odds On Promotions, in a direct mail promotion developed by a marketing company in Georgia.

Quarles won the brand-new ride after he took his cousin’s advice and drove one hour to the dealership to see if he was the grand prize winner. While Quarles wanted to look at the car, winning number or not, when he got to the dealership, he was shocked to find out the number on his mailer matched a set of grand prize winning numbers posted at the dealership.

But Quarles wasn’t the only big winner of the “Splash Into Savings” Sales Event. The dealership was delighted with the turnout, reporting between 600-800 folks visited, which was well above their expected turnout of 500.

Direct Mail Promotion Winner, Scott BuckStreetsboro, Ohio — Direct mail promotion winner, Scott Buck, recently won a brand new 2015 Hyundai Tucson GLS, courtesy of Great Lakes Hyundai, and paid for by Odds On Promotions.

As part of their Spring Giveaway last May, Great Lakes Hyundai, with the help of Rebs Marketing, produced a Scratch, Pull, Match & Win direct marketing campaign. The multi-page mailer featured inventory, financing offers, a scratch-off spot, a “CodeKase” number match device, and a variety of enticing prizes – three of which were insured by Odds On.

To find out if they had won, recipients first scratched to reveal a number, then pulled the tab on the number match device to see if they had a matching number. If they had a match, they would present the mailer at the dealership to see which prize they would receive.

Buck had a “CodeKase” match and visited the dealership to see if he had won an HDTV worth $2500, a $7500 Walmart gift card, or his choice of $25,000 or a new Hyundai, all paid for by Odds On, or if he had had won a smaller Walmart Gift card which was self-insured by the dealership and Rebs Marketing.

Buck, who had never been to the dealership before, headed down to see what prize he won and was thrilled to learn he was the grand prize winner. Direct mail promotion winner, Scott Buck, opted for the cash and ended up leasing a car. Along with some nice publicity and the new lease, the mailer brought over 1100 people to the dealership – over a 2% response.
