Watch Hart’s impressive final 50-foot putt!

Hart won the big cash prize after he successfully holed a 10-foot, a 30-foot and an impressive 50-foot putt on the practice putting green at the Marshfield Country Club, during the 5th Annual Columbus Classic Golf Tournament’s combination putting contest.

The Columbus Classic, a fundraiser for the Columbus Catholic Schools, is hosted by the Booster Club. The tournament gives all registered participants the chance to putt for a $10,000 prize. Everyone who successfully makes the 10-foot putt moves on to the 30-foot putt. After successfully holing the 30-footer, Hart and four other players moved on to the 50-foot putt.  Hart, who shot 3rd, won the prize, as he was the first to successfully hole the 3rd and final putt.

Odds On’s Sister Company Has Million Dollar Shootout Winner

Congratulations to Million Dollar Shootout winner Ted A., who won a $1,000,000 prize courtesy of The Founders Club, LLC, and paid for by Odds On Promotions’ sister company, Hole In One International.

Ted won the million-dollar prize after he and three other golfers all qualified to participate in a post-outing shootout event. But, what makes this story even more incredible, is that 3 of the 4 participants qualified for the shootout by making a hole in one, when getting closest to the pin would have cut it. Watch the congratulatory winner video.

Million Dollar Shootout Winner - Ted

According to Pine Hills Country Club policy, when a member in the Hole In One Club makes an ace, the country club hosts an outing and a dinner to recognize the acemaker’s achievement.

This past September, during such a recognition outing, Reed Schmidt of The Founders Club, LLC sponsored a million-dollar shootout contest.

Outing participants could qualify for the million dollar shootout by getting closest to the pin on a designated par 3. As it turns out, a truly unbelievable total of three players qualified by making a hole in one, while Tom qualified with closest to the pin.

But, the story doesn’t end there… when it came time for the big bucks, Ted who has a 7.1 handicap, hit another hole in one during the actual shootout event… leading to the 4th ace of the day – and better still – scoring the million dollar prize.

Golf Contest Helps Raise Funds for Basketball Team’s Charity

golf contest - 60-foot puttDamien Anderson, Internet Business Development Manager with Odds On Promotions shares how an aviation company in the Southwest managed to help raise funds for a basketball team’s charity by insuring a grand prize golf contest...

In order to help fundraise as well as improve their name recognition, an aviation company in the Southwest insured a putting contest at the charity’s 25th Annual “Jump Ball Gala” event, which featured appearances by Charles Barkley and Kevin Johnson (“KJ”) of NBA fame.

Individuals who made a donation at the event had the opportunity to participate in a 15-foot putting golf contest.  All those who successfully holed the putt then had their names placed in a bowl.  Out of all those who qualified, one lucky attendee’s name was drawn and they were given the opportunity to make a final 60-foot putt.  If they holed that grand prize putt, they would have been given the gift of flight — $20,000 in free private flight hours, paid for by Odds On Promotions.

Interested in insuring one of our many golf contests at your next big event?  Whether it’s a trade show, charity event or otherwise, we’re guaranteed to have something just for you!  Give Odds On Promotions a call at 888-827-2249 or email us for more information!

Pssst – Remember the infamous Shot at Glory hole-in-one challenge at the infamous 16th green at TPC Scottsdale earlier this year, which Odds On’s sister company, Hole In One International, insured?  The aforementioned charity just so happened to be the title sponsor for that event!  Furthermore, the aviation company teamed up with Hole In One International to also insure a hole in one contest on three separate courses at Desert Mountain Golf Course in Scottsdale, Arizona!  What can we say?  Our clients just can’t get enough of us!
