Hey everyone! I’m here to talk about an exciting casino contest that a client of mine in the Southeastern U.S. insured in order to keep players on their casino property for longer periods of time during the month of June: The Big Draw!

If you’re not familiar with Odds On Promotions‘ lotto-based casino contest, The Big Draw, then allow me to explain how it works:

Players swipe their player’s club card at the game’s kiosk and choose six lucky numbers (1-60) on the game’s touchscreen. After making their selections, players receive a ticket with their picks as well as the next drawing time. At the chosen time, the casino staff conducts a live drawing of six random numbers using Odds On’s ball draw machine… and if a lucky player manages to select all six, they’re a grand prize winner!

While The Big Draw can be used on a countertop, super or deluxe kiosk, this specific property used our 4′ x 8’ deluxe kiosk unit to conduct the promotion. Furthermore, the ball draw machine was provided, compliments of Odds On, to conduct the live drawings. Live drawings occurred every Friday during the month of June, which gave players the chance to win $1,000,000… paid for by no other than Odds On Promotions!

Unfortunately, there was no million dollar winner; however, the casino handed out prizes for those players who managed to select a lesser number of matching numbers. On-Pack Promotions: Pentel Gives Consumers Chance to Win $500K

Big news here at Odds On Promotions! Pentel reached out to me, inquiring about on-pack promotions. Thankfully, I was able to help them insure the perfect on-pack promotion that would not only increase awareness of their EnerGel-X line of pens, but also increase sales at participating retail stores during the back-to-school season… all the while, giving one lucky individual the chance to win money for both themselves and their school!

Here’s how the promotion works: Approximately 700,000 specially-marked packages of Pentel’s EnerGel-X pens will be distributed to stores nationwide, each of which contain a unique prize code which is revealed once the package of EnerGel-X pens are opened. The consumer will then go to Pentel’s website to enter in the code in hopes of “unleashing the power of Pentel” during their super hero-themed promotion, which helps capitalize upon all of the super hero movies of the season.

The ‘power’ in question just so happens to be a $500,000 insured grand prize – $250,000 for you, $250,000 for your school! Compliments of Pentel for purchasing their EnerGel-X pens… and paid for by Odds On Promotions, of course!

Retail Promotions a Success at Jewelry Stores!

Looking for a great retail holiday promotion? This May we assisted three jewelry store locations in running a “diamond” themed promotion using Odds On’s prize coverage during a Mother’s Day sales event!

During the week-long promotional period, at each of the three locations, customers had a chance to participate in Odds On’s Video Scratch and Win game, “Diamonds & Dollars”, simply for stopping by one of the stores!

Customers selected six spots on the countertop unit’s touchscreen, in hopes of revealing six winning symbols — which, in this case, happened to be a diamond coupled with a stack of bills.

If a customer happened to choose six spots on the touchscreen which all revealed winning symbols, they would have won $50,000… and Odds On Promotions would have paid for the prize!

While unfortunately, no one managed to select all six winning symbols, the stores drove increased traffic to their locations during the week-long promotional period.
